Playing with gravity



This is an interactive Kinect Hack. In this case Kinect is used to obtain the silhouette of the users and then this shape is used to interact with a virtual world, in this case just falling 2D blocks. It seems to be just an artistic experiment, but one wonders what can be done using a more elaborated 3d world.

Depth in black and white



The kinect hack is also a new tool for artists. Depth information can be used to achieve all kind of interesting effects. Here we can see a black and white video generated from the depth information obtained from a hacked kinect device.
